Jayco Precept 29UM Main Slider Design Defect

Just found out yesterday that Jayco acknowledge a design defect on the side slider in that the rollers are attached to the slider rather than the body of the coach causing the motors to overheat and result in a fault code. Appears the slider is too heavy for the motors. Their remedy is to move the roller placement to the coach frame itself. New parts on order but will advise forum of the modification when it happens.

Any update on this issue? Looking at 29um vs Thor ACE 30.2 vs Fleeetwood Storm 32H for short bunkhouse.

Like a lot of things about the precept but this sounds like similar issues to Thor full wall slides, on 2015's Thor added extra tracks for the slide to beef it up.

Can't tell what track system Jayco uses doesn't look like Lippert Schwintek which is causing Thor problem, tracks look skinnier than Schwintek.

The original production had this defect. I looked at the new ones and they have changes the system entirely. Remedy was to move rollers to the chassie. Just got mine back and waiting to see it this helps.
