Just bought first motorhome

H all,
In the process of purchasing our first motorhome, a 2007 National Dolphin 32 footer with just 1500 miles! Was only used about 20 times and is like new inside and out. I think we got a great deal. I know National is out of business, but I'm sure most of the systems are pretty common throughout the industry. We're really looking forward to hitting the road and exploring the good ole USA.

Congradulations and welcome aboard. After the warranty period, it doesn't matter if the builder is around or not. Just matters that you like your rig.

Low mileage is not a good thing. Motor Homes don't like to sit.

My brother-in-law has a 2004 Dolphin, and he loves it. They are well built coaches.

As with any rig you are looking at, make sure you check for water damage and delamination. Will save you a lot of headaches.

2007 Dolphin

Wyatt,

Congrats on the Dolphin! As you can see in my sig, I own a National RV too. National (NRV) made several models of gas and diesel rigs. NRV has a great reputation for quality builds on their coaches.

The Sea Breeze is our second NRV rig. We had a 1998 Dolphin before, and wanted bigger rig, so moved up to the SB.

You do not say where you live, but here are FMCA Chapters for NRV owners all over the country. Here in the South West are The Dolphins. The Dolphins. It is worth ot to belong to FMCA and a NRV owners club. Lots of benefits to both.

More info on The Dolphins website.

Happy Trails!
