I'm from NE Ohio but but after spending 2 years home ported in Long Beach and the western Pacific that is exactly my feeling with 70 degrees the rest of the year

I remember those days. Nice that I ONLY have to remember them.

Although, we live just north of San Diego and we got FROST this morning!!!!

I love to call my brother (he lives in Glenview, IL) and tell him that just after they have a snow storm. It's soooo much fun.

Why do people live like that?!?!?!?!?!??!?

We lived in the northern suburbs of Chicago for about 50 years. The local saying was (probably still is) [I][U]"When you get tired of the weather, move." So we did.

Last year we had a heavy snow in January. In late March we made sure that wouldn't happen again. We bought a snow blower!!

Actually, we moved too - from Alaska to southwest Colorado. THAT was a big improvement in the weather! We had 20 FEET of snow the last winter we were in Alaska. I've seen -82F on the thermometer in Alaska (not wind chill), so -17F in CO is a big change for the better.... Maybe it's time to move again...

Prior to my retirement we were considering a move south from MA mainly because my wife was tired of dealing with the snow. We hadn't quite decided where we wanted to be but a friend suggested we just head south and every time we stopped for gas just ask this question, "Do you know what a snowblower is?". His idea was that when someone answered that they didn't know, we would have found our new home.

Had to shovel about a foot of snow off the motorhome before we left for TX this week. It is a ticket offense to have that much snow blowing off the top of MH.

We went fishing in our boat today. It is in the seventies. We have a Jeep just in case we have snow, but we generally use it as a toad and to go off-roading in the woods.
