Just curious,

We have a 2015 Miramar 34.2/w, has anyone opened the sofa bed? You can not get in or out of bathroom when the couch is open . and do you have a lock on the bathroom door????????. Do you have the full awning that goes in 3 or 4 positions and covers your outside tv? Ours is a small awning that covers nothing BUT it does have lights under it. We bought the motorhome June 15 2015 been in the shop for 4 weeks for major problems to many to mention. I should be receiving a call from Mr. Grimm from Thor. Does anyone else have the same minor problems thanks for listening......barbara1950

Not sure why you'd need a lock on the bathroom door, do you entertain strangers in the RV? Just announce, "I'm using the head." and that should do it.

Unfortunately, many RV's come with " What were they thinking " glitches in the floor plan and options departments. Seems like all the designers have never set foot in an RV.
A friend , first time RVer that was looking at TTs , I had warned her to sit every where to make sure all the seating areas were usable. She did just that, including the toilet everything seemed fine, so they bought the RV. First trip out , went to the bathroom , and found the door couldn't be closed while sitting on the toilet, something she had forgotten to try.
They had that TT less than 3 weeks before they traded it back to the dealer for full price against a different unit.

Poor Quality Control at the factory , resulting in extended stays at the dealer for repairs , the forums are full of those posts.

Some designers of motor homes have not lived in the real world, and therefore make some very basic errors, such as blocking access to other facilities when opening doors, sofa beds, etc.
