With the burgundy being a fairly popular colour right now it makes the coach look more modern. The headlights look a bit cloudy once you polish them clear there isn't much outside to give away the age.

You'll never regret going with the full body paint. We did the same when we purchased our 2000 DSDP in 2010. With the 3 coats of clear we had put on it still looks like it was painted yesterday, plus it really doesn't need waxing.. People will find it hard to believe the age of the coach when you tell them.

This is what i'm afraid of when I buy a coach.
Camp host "sir, we have a ten year rule here"
Me "this is a 2014 on its maiden voyage"
Camp host "sir please don't stretch the truth"
Me "..."
Vs
Camp host " you know we are a simple campground, your exclusive class a premium resort is down the road and to the left"
You "I made a reservation here"
Camp host "no the fancy coaches go down the road"
You facepalm

In over 3yrs. of fulltiming we've never been asked what year our coach is. And if I ever did and they had a 10yr. policy, I'd tell them 10yrs.

I stopped counting how old I was when I hit 30. Same principal. As long as you don't look older why claim it.

just a little
Has anyone heard if there is a web site that you can put in the year and make of your MH and then add different colors and striping to see what it would look like afterwards?
Thanks, Can't wait too see your end results.

That price is the same as the quote that I got to replace the decals, which I was seriously considering. I'm having them do a few extra things, which I don't mind doing since I'm getting what I think is a fair price to start with.
Besides, I just want to get this done before I start realizing how much I am spending.
Although these guys are 100 miles from me, I am going to go waaaay out of my way to let them become me repair shop. Besides, travelling 2 hrs in LA could be either 10 or 100 miles depending on the time of day.
Oh... don't get the decals put back on if you plan on keeping it for a while. The cost of new decals was only about 30% less than the cost of paint.

Hi Maurice,
BEAUTIFUL JOB. I am going to give these guys a call, but if you don't mind, who did you talk with down there ?

OK, here are the before and after photos. Its a bit dirty from the rain, but I think you'll be able to see the good work that RVReady4U did for me.
Now the trick is to make sure that it looks the same in another 10 years.
Before: (Looks really good, but notice the peeling decals and faded colors from 2004)
After: (Notice the painted graphics and updated color scheme)

Is it just me ? or are these RV manufacturer's getting carried away with all of the "stripes and graphics" on RV's ?
We have owned MH's for 30 years and they used to be simple stripes now they look like Birthday wraped packages rolling down the road. I liked your first pictures with the two colors.
But thats just me. Nice looking coach you got there

Thanks for the compliment.
It would have looked great with the original colors, but the stickers were peeling badly, although the pics didn't really show it. I wouldn't have gone through the trouble of having it painted if it didn't really need it.
I also thought that this coach was worth the investment. I do plan on keeping it for at least 10-12 years like I did the last one.
btw.... those "two" colors in the first picture... is actually 4 different colors that were all washed out. I only changed 3 of the 4. And since I was having it done, might as well make it look like a birthday present!
Now I can start telling lies about its age...

That is a great looking paint job, I wondered how in the heck did the painter sand between all that masking tape (prep before paint)
...how old did you say it is? lol
