Just have to ask - the hose in the bathroom is for..?
Just picked up our new-to-us Class A Vista. There is a hose next to the toilet. I know it can't be a bidet attachment, so what is it for?? Our sales person said you use it to clean the bathroom or hose off sandy feet (which I would not do AFTER I had tracked those sandy feet all through the coach anyway).
I saw in a random post somewhere that maybe it was for hosing off "stuff" in the toilet since the flush action is not very powerful. Does anyone actually know why it is there??

It's there to rinse off the bowl. Some of that stuff is sticky. Step on the flush pedal, press the lever on the hose, and flush. Simple.

We have a winner, yes hosing brown stuff that sticks to the bowl would be the best use.
If it works as a Bidet let me know but it is hooked to cold water so might be a bit of a shock to your system.
If I was gonna wash sandy feet I think I would do that outside, but if anyone uses the toilet for that we need a YouTube video.

I agree with that.
I presume this hose has a sprayer on it, pretty much like you'd find at a kitchen sink.

Yes, it is used for cleaning the toilet. The water flow is generally not sufficient to remove tp and other stuff. The rv toilet is not one of the happy experiences in the life style. Happy camper is the most effective treatment that I have used.

Salesperson just could not resist showing off and in the process displayed their ignorance.
Add me to the list of spraying away the brown stuff with the "hose".

I think the saleman should make a video of spraying his sandy feet off. The swirling action should wash the sand away quite nicely as well.
Yes, I am entertaining myself at work LOL

Toilet tip. Put some water in the bowl before you do the deed. Try it and you'll understand why.

Seeing as it ONLY has water supplied to it WHILE flushing toilet then it is 'logical' it is for toilet use......
You decide what toilet activities you wish to use it on.

The water pressure while hooked up to an external water supply is usually sufficient to rinse the entire bowl during a flush. But in our MH, the water pump doesn't have the same amount of pressure so flushing while not hooked up doesn't always clean the entire surface of the bowl. This is the only time I use the hose.
