Have you tried to hit (tap with your knuckles vigorously) on the burned out section? That always works when we have that problem on our 2004 MADP.

Maxwell, we have a 2007 Monaco Knight and it has essentially been a great coach for us, however, last year's trip home from Florida Was from hell. Before we left our resort we lost the alternator and had it replaced. That was about $1800. We were snookered on that one but I'm learning. Got up to Virginia and lost the AC compressor. Another $1200. After four nights in a motel we got the coach back. Upon leaving noticed antifreeze dripping out of the radiator. Got home and learned we needed to replace the radiator for about another $1800. Do we love our coach? Yep'er! Am I approaching mental instability, absolutely! Ain't life grand?

Have replaced tires every 7 to 8 years, batteries approx. every 5 to 6 years, only slide problems have been having to replace both factory original solenoids. Also had to rebuild alternator & inverter, replace spanners on front brakes, new shocks at 64K miles, change motor/generator oil/filters etc. every 8K miles or 2 years, just changed black tank dump valve and brake air moisture filter this year, plus chase and repair assorted problems as they happen, all you can do is repair, replace and do scheduled maintenance as needed, there is always going to be something that needs attention, I'm sure I am leaving lots of thing out that have been done.
