Has any one replaced the entry door lock with a keyless entry lock. Re: 2008 Tiffin Phaeton

Why? More electronics and batteries to go bad, then you're locked out.

I know of one guy with a keyless that has disabled his so no key needed ever again. Seems it just kept quite working and he got tired of fixing it and refixing and refixing.

Have a keyless entry, but it is just another thing to break, die or generally misbehave. I would not retrofit any rig with this feature -prefer to keep it simple, a reflection of my choices in life. I keep the keys handy just in case for this particular MH.

Same here. My key fob is programmed to operate the keyless entry for the door and the basement locks. Works about 10% of the time for the door and about 99% of the time for the basement. Bottom line, I don't use it for the door, and since the door also has a dead bolt, I have to use a key anyway.
