King pin recall.

I own a 2013 QBP 40 Allegro Bus. Bought it 11 months ago and have driven it less than 2,000 miles. ( Health problem prevented more miles). We lived in it almost 2 months this summer though to be close to hospital and family. So I took it back to dealership to have some issues fixed.

While there I took it to a truck center that works on motor homes to have the chassis serviced along with oil change, filters etc. The chassis is a Powerglide 37,600. They found the recall for the kingpins had not been fixed. Anyone had this problem on your coach? Parts are slow coming to the truck repair center.

Don’t know what this is going to cost? The recall should be on Tiffen?

Hmmmm? Is that a factory recall on defective equipment? If so, then it should be covered. Tiffen is a pretty stand-up bunch. Give them a call maybe?

What chassis do you have? That is who you should be dealing with. I don't think Tiffin installs the kingpins

This is a chassis related recall not a MH manufacturer recall.

And a pretty big, important recall at that.

The Power-glide chassis is built by Tiffin, in house.

Oh wow, interesting. Didn't know that. Then yeah, Tiffin would be the folks to call.
