Have there been anyone, other than me, having trouble with the steps not extending? Happened first time last October, had them fixed and did okay until couple weeks ago. Called Tiffin and was advised when everything else is okay, take a hammer and beat them. I did and they worked again, until today and they quit working. All electrical is good to go, the steps just bind up. Any suggestions.

I was driving up IH 75 and ran into a construction zone blocking off traffic down to one lane. For a section the "gentlemen" putting out the cones got a little wild and got about 4' into my lane. Needless to say, I clipped one with my steps and although they were "up" it bent them sonewhat. I was traveling with a retired mechanic who got out a 5' bar and adjusted them until they worked.

Sometimes they still tend to bind somewhat, but as long as I keep them sprayed with silicone, they do OK.
