Koni shocks who has them?
I'm looking at installing them on my 2009 Bounder to get a softer ride, are they worth the money?

Spartan replaced our stock shocks with Koni's after we complained about the harsh ride. The Koni's smoooothed it right out.

Just finished first 1000 mile trip with our new Koni FSD's They are a little better than the original equipment Bilsteins, but worth the money, the jury is still out on that! (They are expensive!)!

Koni's on the front of my 8.1 WH sure made the ride to Florida last winter much smoother.
Maybe I can afford the rears this year,(or another tank of gas!!)

I just installed them on my 05 Southwind and I did all 4. So far they seem to have done the trick for me. Remember one thing though, you are dealing with a truck chassis that won't give you a Caddy ride to start with so don't expect it with the Koni's. They do smooth the ride though.
I have noticed a difference already in local running and wll be taking on its first long trip this weekend.

I changed to Koni's on mine at about 32K miles - and that was a good thing to do. Certainly smoothed out some of the bumps on many highways.

They might be ok on a light coach but if you go over 30,000, they stink. I just replaced some 2 year old FSDs with Road Kings. Now these are shocks and they make a huge difference.

I was poised to have FSDs installed, wonder if anyone else has done 'Kings.

My only regret about the Koni shocks is that I didn't install them years ago. I put up with the Bilsteins for way too long. I'm not sure why dons2346 said Koni's are not good for a heavy coach. My street weight is 32K. Rear axle is at 20K and the front axle is at 12K. My Koni's made a world of difference in ride and I am very pleased with them.
Road King's are really nice shocks. Price Koni and Road King. Then make your decision.
When the front Koni's were installed, I had them put at the softest ride setting.

We have them and with over 1,000 miles they are great.
Brazel's RV Performance sent them to my door at a great price..

Gary,
I had the oem shocks removed from our Prevost and Koni's put on and they substantially improved the ride. Our coach weighs 54,000 lbs.

Thanks everyone for input on the koni's. Owning a business helps, I talked to Kia at Koni's today and I can buy them at whole sale price of 132.50 each for the FSD

We recently had the Koni FSD's as well as other suspension upgrades installed on my Workhorse. As others have said, they have really improved the ride a lot. They were installed at a shop in Pennsylvania and some of the roads in the Keystone State are not very good and the Koni's helped. That price you mentioned is very good.
