We've used Camping World all around the country and have always had good service.

We have always found pleasant, knowledgeable people working there. So I'm a happy camper when it comes to Camping World.

Don't know where I'm going, spose I'll get there anyway.

Our install was a vented one. I didn't like the way the non-vented worked so went with the vent.

That is great news, I've also used the camping world in Rocklin California and had terrific service. Like all retail stores they are only as good as the managers who run them and the people they hire and train. Regards

Yes... Mine is vented as well... I had previous experience with the combo's in Europe, they never worked right for me... I really like my stackable, a smaller payload then at the S&B, but works just as good...

This is true to an extant - the trained labor pool in a particular location has a great deal to do with success or failure of a good service center. I have experienced the case of a very frustrated manager ( with excellent work history) unable to fill vacancies in his Camping World service facility do to a dearth of an untrained or inexperienced work force. It doesn't seem to be an issue for any specific area of the country; however, the more rural areas seem to be more vulnerable than a more populated area. Then there is the issue of pride in one's work-a problem across the board!

a scarcity or lack of something.

"there is*a dearth of*evidence"

synonyms:lack,*scarcity,*shortage,shortfall,*want, *deficiency,insufficiency,*inadequacy,paucity,*spa rseness,scantiness,*rareness;

"a dearth of trained specialists"

Seems there is misunderstanding of the word "dearth" in your post. I think you meant there is a dearth of trained and experienced people.

I recently had a Safe-T Plus installed on my motorhome through Camping World in La Mirada, California. Not a difficult job, but I think they did it well. At first the mechanic seemed a little abrupt; however, I will give him a pass since I caught him right when he was getting ready to go to lunch.

A couple hours later, I re-contacted the mechanic after he finished the job and everything was fine. It took them four tries to adjust the Safe-T Plus properly to ensure the motorhome drove straight. What I did like was both the mechanic and shop manager mentioned to me the steering was a little loose and suggested I have it tightened. They both seemed to be on the same page.

Prior to having the Safe-T Plus installed at Camping World, I contacted my RV Dealership and they wanted almost $300 more to do the same job.

Very pleased with Camping World.
