Cardone 42-309 (limited lifetime warr.) fits my 2011 Winnebago Vista 35F Kwikee 2 step. It's not an exact fit as I had to drill out the motor bolt holes and I will have to use a smaller bolt head for one of the bolts, either that or grind down the head diameter a touch. Right now the stairs are working like a charm and I'll get that 3rd bolt in town tomorrow. Thanks to OP and all for posting your findings.

A Cardone p/n 42-309, 1990 Ford Taurus left front widow lift motor...($53.99 at Advance Auto Parts in 2010), fit my 1996 Kwikee 2 step with no modifications to the step or to the motor.
(BTW an ACI p/n 83694 is also an exact replacement).

Reading through this thread, I think the key here is the model of steps the OP has. His particular model is known as the "Revolution" and is a little different than some of the models mentioned above. These particular steps do not have an arm attached to the motor or a cotter pin. His particular model requires a deeper gear on the motor than most. I know this because my steps just failed and I have the same model of steps. Here is the information I was able to locate;

Motor number: 300-1457 (also known as Kwikee Motor #1510000147 or Lippert Motor #369340). These steps require a deeper gear. There is a similar motor (#300-1406); however, I was told this gear is not deep enough and you would have to take the gear off your existing motor (#300-1457) and place it on the #300-1406 motor in order to use it.

Controller: 1510000172 (has two prong motor plug attached).

Good luck!

Thank-you for this information. I will go to local Napa to get a spare gear. Bought motor at Amazon after my Kwikee 2 step fail after 1 1/2 yr, easy 15 min replacement, but all that was wrong with old motor was this gear. Now Iíll carry spare motor & 10mm socket.

Here is a link to a trouble shooting post I did last year following my problem with the Kwikee step that may be helpful.
