Ladder Misfit

A little help please. Just purchased a used 2013 Breeze. The owner forgot to include the removal lower part of the ladder when I made the purchase. He shipped me the part. Problem is when I attached the stand off legs to the bottom (which are two different sizes) the ladder does not fit properly. One side pushes the ladder away from the bottom, while the other swings in the breeze (pun intended) Has anyone else encountered this problem. The owner's manual states the the ladder bottom is hinged, but mine is removable, and stood when not in use. It seems to be the wrong part.

I have a brand new coach with a 2 piece ladder that is pretty much just like yours. When you put some weight on it, it will more or less meet the coach on those stand-offs. I wouldn't worry too much, mine seems to work just fine with the same situation. The 2 piece ladders are pretty generic.

I've been carrying an extension for two years and never use it. I prefer using a step ladder the rare times I use the rear ladder. I'm going to ditch the extension to gain a little storage space.

Paul, most likely you're carrying a ladder for cleaning the windshield and other uses. If you do, just toss the extension in your garage attic. Just use your step ladder for accessing the upper half of the rear ladder. They just take up space.
