Can not help you with a decent size shower but you can get the bathtub option on a new rig.

I would like to know why they make showers, both in the RV and the park's showers.. Smaller than the average telephone booth.

Because according to manufacturers, the average person is 145-150 pounds. When you look at passenger ratings for cars, boats motor cycles that's what they base it on. I don't know many adult males who weigh this or near it. The last time I weighed 150 pounds I was still in grammar school.
