Laser printed page, left on dash left permanent reverse words on the vinyl.
Anyone have any ideas for removing this stubborn ink spot about 4x6 inches or do I have permanent reverse text on our dash? I know, I know, it was a dumb thing to have done, but the passenger dash makes a great computer desk. ;-)

Ouch! Sorry to hear it.
I'd probably be working it with a Magic Eraser but we have a lot of members who are wizards at this kind of stuff and hopefully they'll be along with advice.

Brake Parts Cleaner, or any other spray alcohol cleaner. Try it out on a hidden part of the dash first , make sure it doesn't take all the color out.

I think that's a good start. The one thing that would concern me would be using a "solvent" of any sort that only made the spot bigger.
Sorry this happened and thanks for the reminder not to do this. I have it happen on a desk and island in S&B. I think Annie used nail polish remover and elbow grease - but not recommending that....

Vandal Remover. Test first.
I used it to remove Magic Marker/Sharpie from Vinyl upholstery

The magic eraser made the spot almost invisible. I can live with it on the vinyl, but I also may try nail polish remover on an inconspicuous space first. It doesn't hurt skin, maybe tan vinyl will react the same. The eraser really did help a lot though. Thanks again.

I would suppose you already tried vinyl cleaner on it. I removed magic marker from one of our ultraleather seats with goo gone and it didn't hurt anything. Might try that to get the rest of it off.

Use the spray fluid that is used to clean white boards. For some reason it works very well on laser printer pigment.

Word of caution with nail polish remover, it will melt plastic and is not good for skin either. It is mostly acetone.

Thanks everyone. I will abort the nail polish idea and move on to goof-off or goo gone then the spray graffiti remover.
