Yep. Sorry about that. Back on topic, I placed 8" of crushed limestone road base compacted to 100%. I then topped it with 2" of crushed gravel to keep it from tracking. If I had it to do over again, I would have used a larger smooth river gravel. The small angular stuff gets in the treads on tires and shoes. I elevated the piers for the support beams, 6" above grade, to accommodate future concrete slab if I choose.

We put in 15" of 3/4 crushed gravel that is about 2" below grade. IF/when we put in a concrete floor we will remove about 3" of crush so we get a 5" concrete slab.
No plans for concrete.

Will get some. Inside is just 2 x 6 construction on 16" centers. The ends are sheeted with 1/2" both sides to provide rigidity. Engineers design. Insulated and vapor barrier prior to sheeting in.
Side walls and ceiling is open. Have ridge vent.
Floor is 15" gravel (20mm) set about 2" below door sills.
Place is full of trailers, etc. Will try to take a picture when it warms up a bit.

The new garage is up! RV, toad, trailers and bikes are all stored for the winter and out of the weather. Has a stone floor until spring when the concrete floor will be poured and electric will be permanently wired.

One thing that was pounded into my head about pouring the concrete after winter was to make sure the sand they mix with the concrete was completely thawed out, while it might look thawed out the deeper you go into the sand pile the more chance of finding small ice particles which would melt when it finally got warm and cause small air pockets in the concrete.

No benefits in pouring in the winter. Cold is not your friend. Even with high heat concrete there will be issues with keeping it warm so it cures.
Some concrete plants will run the gravel through a dryer drum to eliminate the ice but which ones will have to be determined.
Patience - spring will come, the frost will come out and early summer before the heat would be a good time to consider pouring.

We looked at steel garages and settled for a pole barn. We will start construction in April. 20x51. 16' side walls with 12x14 door. I asked a lot of questions here while we were doing the specs. Bigger is better. If I had the room, I would still have gone wider. Doing 100 amp dedicated electrical service and water and sewer connection. Down the road, we will insulate and heat. For now, it's just the basics with a 6" stone base and 7" concrete floor with rebar and heavy psi concrete.
