Very nice 530ktm. The interior photo looks like you are out to sea in that amphibious motorhome that has appeared in a few threads. Where is this, please?

This place is called Emma Wood State Beach Campground and is located just north of Ventura. This was before the big storms we had last season and I think some of these spots may have been washed away, can't imagine why. Anyway, this was off season and not crowded which is close to impossible along the coast in SoCal anymore.

Yes! Glad to see it's back open. What's the maximum length allowed on the beach now?

I don't think there's camping at the state beach. There's also a military camping "resort" on the beach at the Main Base at Oceanside.

Del Mar RV Park. Pendleton has 3 RV parks on base.

It's much easier to get a spot now. They are much more diligent with enforcing time limits - 7 days in summer, and 14 in winter, and a mandatory amount of time must pass between visits. We arrived last Sunday, and there were plenty of spaces. The weather is fantastic, so it filled last night for the weekend.

Goose Necks
Here is our spot at Goose Necks State park last month. Not as close as AZJeff but my wife liked standing out at the edge. Not for me.
