Level Best 2000 Kwikee hydraulic jacks

We purchased a used Residency class A motorhome, the previous owner developed dementia so could not supply the dealership with any instructions on how to work the unit. They sold us the unit as is. We have owned several class A's in the past few years, so are somewhat knowledgeable about them. The problem we are having is the hydraulic jacks are kwikee Level Best 2000. They are no longer made and parts are almost non-existant. With the engine running and the transmission in park, we push the control panel buttons on the dash, lights flash, but no movement from the motor or the jacks, virtually no response, we have had it to at least 3 rv repairmen, all seem to think it is in the control module. Since they are no longer made, we have been unable to find a replacement, searching even the rv salvage yards. Can anyone shed some light on this problem? There is a replacement whole unit that sells for $1100.-$1400. and requires rewiring the whole jack system, estimated to take 10 hrs. at $150. an hr. We would like to see if anyone has any other suggestions before putting that kind of money into a '99 unit. Thanks for reading this issue and look forward to some assistance, thanks for now Barb.

I would first perform a "zero point" or "null" programming; I can't remember which Kwikee termed the procedure to program the automatic leveling software into the control board. If this setting has been lost, some of the units would just flash the leds and not operate. Since you have no manuals, do a seach on line for the procedure. I have to pull out my cheat sheet on each mfg as my memory is not good any more.

Did this get resolved?

I just went thru a whole diagnostics on my kwikee jacks and have it down pretty pat.

You must also apply the parking brake along with the engine running and in park.
I have a 1998 national Sea View with the same system.
