Leveling Jacks

I have a 2006 Fleetwood Pace Arrow 36' coach. I keep my coach plugged in year-round at my house when not traveling, mainly to keep refrigerator running. We have our own 50 amp service where I store the coach. Yesterday, I unleveled the coach with my Atwood automatic levelers, took the coach to town to re-fill propane tank, then brought back home. When I began leveling the coach again, it appears that all 4 legs are extended, but right when the 4th leg was to go to "green" light, the system starting buzzing and red and green light starting flashing. Now I can't retract any of the legs. I thought it might be low voltage, so I checked both batteries that are stored under our entrance steps. Both 6 volt marine batteries tested "OK". Does anyone else have any suggestions? Somebody suggested that I unplug the motor from its power source, but I'm uncertain as to where the motor(s) are. Thank you.

Have you tried to level with your shore power line plugged in?

You might try to reset the jack panel. The control board maybe stuck the alarm mode. The solution that seems to have worked is to raise the jack in question manually if you need too you can use an electric drill with 1/2 inch socket. Then raise the jacks manually and then set them by using extend all (not auto). Then manually level the coach and go through the level reset procedure.

Yes -- it stays in plugged in a 50 amp service.

This probably will sound like a stupid question, but I am not mechanically inclined. Does each jack have its own independent motor (4 in total), or is there just one that controls all 4? And, where do you think the motor(s) is? Thanks again.

There is a motor at the top of each jack leg. At the motor there is a shaft that you can put a wrench or socket on to manually move legs. Lots of work with a wrench, much easier with a drill and socket.

I have "forced" mine up by doing the following.
Start engine
Place foot on brake pedal and apply and keep firm pressure
Release parking brake
Place transmission in Drive
The Atwood jacks will automatically raise by doing this
It is important to keep foot brake applied so coach does not move with jack legs against the ground.

Thanks for the tips, but the "forcing" didn't work. I will just have to try to raise them manually with a drill and socket. I appreciate all the posts. Once I get legs up, I'll take it in to shop and have them look at.
