Leveling jacks down alarm won't turn off
I have an 03 Fleetwood Excursion with Power Gear leveling jacks. When I raise the jacks and turn off the system, the warning light stays lit and the alarm sounds for jacks down. After checking all 4 jacks to make sure they were up, and recycling the system, the alarm continues. I learned from a previous post that the problem could be low fluid. Problem is, I don't know where the reservoir is located. Any help out there?

I have a Sportscoach with Power Gear, My Res. is located drivers side in front of front wheel in a compartment. You should have two hoses going to each jack from the pump.

My 06 Excursion leveler reservoir is located passenger side rear door. It doesn't take much to set off alarm, top it off and alarm will stop. Important always check fluid level when jacks are up, I don't think you can overfill.

Can't help the cause, but you can unplug the alarm from the back of the board.

You also can unplug the sending unit on tank, its right on the top 2 wire black plug that leads to sending unit on tank. I've done this until I had a chance to top off tank.

If you measure or add fluid make sure it is with all four Jacks fully retracted, otherwise you could have a real mess on your hands when you do retract them.

I unplug mine at the float switch on the reservoir. My tank is located just to the front of the passenger side front tire, easy to get to.

I have a 99 pace with the same problem! If you are lucky you only need to service the jacks reservoir tank.
Look at the Pics yours should be similar.
Pic 1= view of reservoir behind battery on rt side (gold block)
Pic. 2= Filler cap (silver)
PIC.3= resev.
pic. 4 = view from the bottom up.
removed fill cap and service with power steering fluid (check your service manual)
Check the wiring.
I remove the wires from the operating panel if the problem occurs on the road.
It can truly irritate. you may need a new fill sensor. PIC 2 red wires.
good luck!

donnyman, the pictures you show are the same as what I have on my MH. tomcat, the red wires to the float switch (pic 2) is what I disconnect to turn off the alarm. My float switch leaks and is cracked so I have another opportunity.

Power gear uses a float valve in the tank to tell if the jacks are up (Tank full jacks up) you can either follow the top-off procedure in the owner's manual (if you can) or just add fluid 1 cup at a time.
As for those who warn about overfilling.
The problem is this
Dextron III and the tank have different coefficients of expansion when heated. The fluid is, shall we say, more expansive.
So, August, 100 in the shade, fluid expands, tank overflows and fluid is lost.
Now it's January, Things are naturally a bit smaller in the US in January and the fluid level goes down.. TOO FAR.
I'd have put more headroom in the tank myself.

Mine is under the hood, drivers side and to the side of the radiator. Fill cap is nylon and loves to try and cross thread itself.
Just add a little with the jacks fully up to see if this cures it and if you want to be exact, you'll have to go online for your particular product line, as they are all a little different. Mine and one of the POWERGEAR models, says to just fill it about 1/8" over the mark, but I choose not to be that meticulous and have been getting along fine with it.

The reservoir is a regular service area and should be checked two or three times a year. i just fill until it overflows and replace the cap.
also the autobrake fluid and engine lubrication ETC. I am learning regular maintenance is the only way to stay ahead of most problems.
my next major item is the roof.
