Liberty harbor rv park NJ near NY

Hi everyone.
Have no idea where to put this but being I have a class A DP
Thought I would start here

I have called this place once before around the oxidants and never heard back

Now again in the area and would like to stay ere but again no answer and never a call back

Are they still open! In biz?

Website works just fine but they never return emails or phone calls.

Any info appreciated.

Thx
Sam

I would never consider camping there. Years ago I tried to leave my boat trailer and truck there over night while we went up the Hudson River. They would not allow overnight parking. I gave up and used Atlantic Highlands instead.

I consider this place to be a waste of government money.

They make post on their Facebook page so they are open, try writing to them on there. We stayed here last year and are planning to stay again in August.

Why would you not consider camping there? I know it isn't much more than a parking lot with water & electric but you can't beat the location for visiting NYC, you walk out the door of your RV up to the train station and be at the WTC Memorial in less than 30 minutes. They also had 24 hour security when we stayed there last year.

We have stayed at Liberty Harbour three maybe four times in the last ten years and if we decide to do NYC again we'll stay there. It is not a resort or anything fancy but it is close to NYC transportation. I don't remember having any difficulty contacting them via telephone. Maybe things have changed.

Doesn't sound right ( them not returning calls ) . Although this is their season and they can book up fast. I've stayed there half a dozen times. Great location , which is why I did. I'd try again if it was me. We recently had another thread on this and this problem was not mentioned.
