Lights Out...

Hi There,

Stu here, long time lurker small time poster.

I have asked this question in the past and followed the advice of the responders but still can't shed light on the problem.

I have a 2007 Georgie Boy Pursuit 3100 DS. I have an issue where the first 2 ceiling light are now not working? I have checked the fuse's in fuse box located in the galley( where the other ceiling light fuse's are) and there does not appear to be a fuse for the first two ceiling lights lights running back from the front windshield?

In the galley fuse box I noticed then when I pulled a good fuse out, there was a little red error light that lit up suggesting a problem fuse. But with all fuse's plugged in there are no red lights? I have used a tester and there is currently no power to the two front ceiling lights?

I purchased this coach late last fall and the lights were working then. The only thing I had done since was I had a new hot water tank installed. I did not think to check all the lights then as I was parking the coach for the winter.

I also looked at the fuses under the dash of the coach but everything appears to be fine there as well. Has anybody had this type of issue?

Thanks much for any help in advance.

Stu

Is the switch on the fixture or on the wall? Do you have power at the switch?

My Southwind has a similar lighting set-up for the front ceiling light and there is an entry-way switch that controls the ceiling light and there is a switch on the light fixture as well that does nothing if the entry-way switch is off. Just a thought.

Have you checked the light bulbs to see if they are good

Well I checked the light bulbs, I checked for power at the switch at the light itself and there was none. So I took the first light off the ceiling (again) and started the process of tracing a possible wire problem. When I was pulling the wire's off the contacts on a second light I noticed that one wire looked a little more loose then the others in the connection end fitting. I tightened that up and it was only then I saw the light for the first time in a year.
Everything works fine now and I am and will be a happy little camper.

Thanks so much for all of the suggestions and help.

Back to lurking.....
