Lippert LCI slide drifting out

I have been trying to figure out the problem that causing my slide-out to drift out. The hydraulic cylinder will come out 2 or 3 inches overnight. I disconnected the hose from the manifold that leads to the inside port of the cylinder to check if the cylinder was leaking and it checked out ok. While I had this hose disconnected, fluid was seeping from the fitting of the manifold that this hose connects to. The manifold has 5 valves on it that controls the 2 slide-outs and jacks. I'm not having any trouble with any of the other cylinders drifting out. I'm thinking it may be the LCI Hydac Cartridge Valve that controls this slide leaking fluid between ports, but I don't know how this valve is suppose to work. Is it normal for fluid to seep out of port. I don't understand how the valve works. It has a knob on the end that lets you turn to manually open the valve. It has a solenoid on it that I suppose opens the valve whenever you activate the slide switch. The valves have o-rings on them and I'm wondering if that could possible be my problem. Anyone have any ideas?

I had a Lippert slide on my fifth wheel and the same thing happened to me with mine moving out while driving. The dealer replaced the hydraulics and hoses all to no avail. I finally went under the slide with the tech and noticed the metal bar (not sure of correct name) frame support on the slide itself was bent. The tech wanted to straighten it out but I demanded it be replace as metal fatigue would have made it even weaker. Hope that helps

I had several lippert slides on my 5th wheel move out. One was so bad it would start going out immediately after pulling it in..The problem was the seals inside the hydraulic cylinder on the piston were bad.. Hope this gives you a direction to look..

Thanks for the replies. My motorhome is a 2005 Georgetown by Forest River. I checked the hydraulic cylinder and if I checked it right, it doesn't seem to be leaking past the seal in the hydraulic cylinder. But the manifold block where the hose was attached had fluid seeping from that port, which make me think the problem may be hydac cartridge valve. Just a guess. I thought of switching the hoses from this slide to the ports for the other slide and see if the same slide would still drift out. The front slide is in when the cylinder is retracted but the rear slide is in when the cylinder is extended.

Reason I mentioned pre 06 is Lippert no longer makes that hyd system and all parts for it are no longer available. The new system looks the same but isn't. I have the extending slide also and a bad pressure switch and was told by a lippert tek that parts are all gone for that unit and they would retro the new unit for me for $5000. So I now have mechanical locks on that slide and ended the problem hoping nothing else goes wrong with the pump unit.
