Lippert Leveling System
The last time I tried to level our Motor Home I noticed that there was a light on the pad that said I need to set my parking brake. My brake was set but the light would not clear. With this light on you can not do anything with the system. Has anyone had this problem? and what was the solution. Thanks

First thing I'd try is starting the engine, release the brake, put it in D then back to P. Then set the brake, wait a few secs then shut down and try the leveler again. Sometimes the brains have an 'episode' with normalcy and need resetting.

I have the Lippert leveling system and my Diesel Motor must be running for it to work. Try turning the leveling system off and back on while the motor is running and the break is set.

The motor is running ,I agree with that. Without the motor running I get low voltage alarm. The problem is that the motor is running and the brake set, but the control pad shows engage parking break. With this alarm on you can not turn on the auto or manual switch.

First 5hing to check is the signal that tells the control tour brake is set.
What kind if signal is it?
What sends it?
Trace it back to the source. Could be a bad ground, Bad aensor, bar switch, bad board, just to start.
Good Luck

Here is the link to the manual for your system in Pdf:
https://www.lci1.com/assets/content/...ket_Manual.pdf
Page 15 is troubleshooting.
Also, I have had this happen myself, just took out the control panel, unhooked the power and comm wires and then rehooked everything as it was. Solved the problem.

The first thing to try is a reset. Don't know if it will work or not but I have had good luck with turning off the house and chassis shutoff switches for resetting other systems.

Similar thing happened on our first night after we left the dealership. It turned out to be a connection on the back side of the dashboard behind the brake vibrated loose. Reconnect it and the alarm silenced and jack worked. Hope this helps.
