Lippert levelling system, What can you do?

Couple of weeks ago I posted a query about my Lippert leveling system. I didn't have any luck fixing it so I went to the nearest Damon dealer (100 kms away), after examining my system (2004 Challenger V10 F53 25000 miles) and charging me $250.- they advised me my system was too old to repair and that I would need a new touch pad and control unit and with installation it'll cost me another $1500.-. It is a pretty big dealership and they don't give a S--- (if you don't like it go somewhere else is the feeling I get from them), I had purchased a new rear view monitor from Tadi in California and they would not install it (250) they advised me their unit is $700.- plus 5 hours labour to install it $650-. for a total of over $1500.- by the time the tax is included. I installed it myself in 1 1/2 hrs. I feel I'm getting totally screwed. This is a big dealer near Barrie Ont. I would love to find another repair place that is a little more reasonable and consumer friendly to deal with. Am I stuck with these dorks or does anyone know of any RV repair places in Central Ontario that are a little more approachable.

I don't know where you are in ONTARIO but one place that comes to mind is Hughes RV outside of Orangeville. Another thing you could try is contact Lippert in Indiana and ask them for someone in the area.

We have used a mobile mechanic several times for minor issues. We found him by calling a couple of local campgrounds and asked them who they used. The first one we called was out within an hour, and fixed our issues quickly and efficiently. His price is $75/hour plus parts. He doesn't mark up parts, either. I trust him and he's always done a good job.

Maybe your local campgrounds could recommend someone.
