Theroc has it pefectly on the head. Find out the law in your state, see if you can comply with those laws and see if you can document that compliance. If you can both comply and document your compliance then you are totally within the law and you are NOT cheating anyone.

The situation is literally no different than those of us who deduct motorhome interest or sales taxes or personal property taxes. If the law allows it then why wouldn't you do it? I know of no one who feels a moral obligation to overpay their taxes. If you know someone who feels that way I sincerely doubt they would admit it!

I too, have used Deer Creek Corporate Services for quite a number of years. Never had a problem, either with them nor with my home state of Nevada.
