I went to factory school on the onan generators in 1994. They said the generators that lasted the longest were the ones that were used the most. Bucket trucks that used generators to power electric chainsaws, that were used to trim limbs from power lines, lasted the longest. Next were motorhomes set up as mobile offices, such as mobile dental offices, etc. I would not be afraid of the hours, but would set aside some stash cash just in case.
