Hi everyone,
I am in the market in the near future for a used Newmar diesel pusher. I'm having trouble finding a dealer that has reasonable prices. Any suggestions? I was even thinking about bank repo's but have no idea how to find them.
In addition, I have heard that Newmar had sidewall problems, cooling system issues, and even e-plex problems in the past. Since I'm new, any info would be greatly appreciated.

The best advice I can give you is don't let a dealer's asking price put you off. They will normally take a good bit less than advertised. PPL is a good data point for prices that coaches are actually selling at. Used RVs, Motorhomes for Sale, and Consigned sales - PPL Motor Homes

Don't forget Ebay Motors. We bought ours from an Ebay seller this summer and couldn't be happier. I also just sold a fifth wheel on Ebay, great transaction, simple easy and exposes you to a huge market

My dealer General RV shows 2 used Newmar Kountry Stars DP in inventory. One currently in Florida and one here in Michigan. Both show discounted prices already or make them an offer.

You'be surprised what falls out of the trees if you post a "Wanted" ad in your local paper.

I once bought a whole house that way!
(And that was after the local realtors all told me that there was "no way" I'd find one for the price I was willing to pay

)

It was an all-cash transaction, though...

Contact Scott Hendry at Boat-N-RV in Hamburg, PA. He can hook you up with a 2005 Newmar DP (as long as you don't mind a "smokers coach") which they have on their lot. Tell him Karl sent you.
