Looking for older thread

I read awhile back where a poster had someone install base plates under the ends of each slide out out of aluminum. I have an installer I am trying to explain what I read and can't get the point across. Anyone remember that post and if so can you direct me there?

Found this image. This is the concept, but if I remember the poster used aluminum and the screws where counter sunk and extended the entire depth of the slide which required a scissor jack to slide the plate in.
