There are many storage places. Depending on the size of the rig.. What I do not know is how many of them can store a motor home in a store room. I can check on one or two here in the Darien area (About an hour south of Savannah ) if you want.

Are you looking for "covered storage" or inside climate-controlled storage?

I did a quick search myself (I'm not familiar with the Savannah area) and came up with some of both.

Here's one that has covered storage (photo on page shows motorhome under cover):

Safe Storage Facilities

Here's one that appears to have climate controlled storage:

And another one:

Gordon's Auto, RV & Boat Storage - Home

See video that shows the indoor storage for motorhomes at Gordon's:

Thanks Wa8yxm , Darien may be a little to far. Thanks for offering to look in Savannah. I live here and i will check on the location that theroc sent to me. I believe t I called them last week , but after calling so many I am not sure. I just thought someone on fourm that lives here may know of a private location.

Hey theroc, I have called those facilities, Gordon's are the only one that has indoor storage ( no covered storage) thank you for you trying to help . Gordon's charges for in door storage 4800. a year, with electric 5,520. a year. I just didn't think it should be that much, but maybe that is common. Do you know if that is standard for this space. I would like covered storage with electric so I can AC. Thanks again for your help, I should have done a better job in explaining my question.

WV Bum, most of the covered RV storage spaces I've seen will not have electric. Those that do may provide just enough to maybe keep the batteries maintained. Storage with 30-amp electric or enough to run a/c will tend to be expensive as I believe that they would either have to have a separate meter dedicated to each stall or parking slip or charge a relatively high flat fee if not metered. But that's what I've noticed out west in those areas I've checked out. I've never looked for storage anywhere in the southeast so I don't know if that's true where you are located or not. Since you are in an area of high heat and humidity, it may be entirely different than what's offered out west.

So yes, hopefully, somebody in your area will chime in with a suggestion or will know of some place or some one offering that type of storage. And you're right, you never know when a private party will offer storage on their property as I've noticed things like that advertised on Craigslist in several places I've been. Best of luck in finding what you are looking for.
