Looking to buy Southwind and found a cracked dash

Looking at purchasing a Fleetwood Southwind. We drove it and noticed the dash bounce slightly and upon further inspection I saw a 2 inch crack in the dash at the base of the windshield. I was wondering if I can look further into the issue before I pick it up and what I should look for at the dealership. I did look into the engine compartment and saw it in there but access to the area in question is really limited.

The Crack is right where the windshield meets the dash but the crack does not look like it will enter the channel of the windshield. I saw some other "cracked dash" threads but did not cover this particular location.

Repair ideas?
Keep shopping?

Looking at finalizing and picking up tonight so any immediate responses are GREATLY appreciated in advance.

Wrecked and outside damage repaired but not the dash?
We looked at a rig some years ago that the curtain rod wasn't attached correctly and the wood was broken above the windshield. That led me to inspect further and I found a high water mark inside all the storage bays. I asked the stealer whether it might have been in an accident or flood (this was after some of the flooding in the SW). The answer was, "it came from one of our other lots so we don't know". We kept looking.

There's TONS of decent Class A's out there being unloaded by owners severely hit by the economy.

What's the rush?

Be patient. Keep looking. My opinion, of course....

Best to buy a coach with no stories, no unexplained anomalies. Plenty, plenty, PLENTY of used coaches on the market being sold by folks who really want them to go away. Worst thing I hear of is people falling in love with a coach and being blind to obvious faults.
