Looking to replace florescent light fixtures with LED
I have been looking for LED lights fixtures to replace the current florescent light fixtures. All I can find are the actual LED's that you modify the existing fixture to LED. Anyone know where I may find the entire LED fixture?

When I can LED modify my 18" $50.00 ThinLite fixture for about $2.00 vs trying to source the exact same size and lumen dedicated LED fixture, it seems quicker and just as effective.
As instructed by others on this forum, I used the Superbrite 5050 LED strips from Amazon which are about $10 for 15m. That will replace 10 florescent bulbs and takes about 10 minutes each fixture.

Going this route, are you eliminating the existing ballast?

I had two ballasts quit on me so I changed out three fixtures with these LED replacements. I'm happy with the result and will continue to replace the remainder as I run out of regular tubes.
The conversation was very simple.

Yes, the only electrical piece I reused was the on off switch.

Yes.
I dismount the fixture.
Drill out the ballast and tube connector rivets.
Remove and discard the ballast and tube connectors from the fixture.
Connect 18g wire to the two LED strips by soldering. (You can buy connectors for this purpose also.)
Install the two led strips with adhesive backing. I leave the fixture's center reflector installed when done.
Re-install the fixture to the ceiling.
Then connect the 18g fixture leads to the coach wires with wire nuts or what ever your choice is.
If I can do it, anyone can do it.

Sounds easy enough, you happen to have a link to the LED's you bought on Amazon?

Well this sounds easy enough. The ballast look to be an ongoing issue and I'm tired of messing with lights that work one day and not the next. Its not like we don't have enough thinks to fix almost daily

I purchased mine from John Drake, easy installation, splice two wires and reinstall the complete unit.

I bought some from eBay, that came from China, I think. Be careful with what you buy from China. They can be not exactly what you want.
I won't pay $4 or $5 each, for them either. Shop wisely and you'll be happy. Camping world is about 900% mark up on LED's too.
