Loss of Anti Freeze

In route to Florida by way of Charlotte NC. Ck engine light came on and a mile or two later Red Stop engine light. Temp overheating after checking I have no anti freeze in tank. Also was loosing engine power on a Cummings 450 HP ISL 2013 with 4200 miles.

Unit was in storage for two months and went less than 2 miles before had ck engine light and then few minuets later stop engine light came on. (so I did)

Called Coach Net and they are towing it to Cummings Atlantic in Charlotte.

Was advised by Coach Net not to drive or replace fluid ???.

Having unit towed in the AM. Concerns are there was not ovovious leak or fluid on ground.

Since you have a new power train, you're doing the right thing by taking it to Cummins. Let us know how it shakes out. Are you staying in it tonight?

I have heard of a similar problem with a friends truck that hadn't been driven for a month or so. No obvious fluid on the floor of garage where it was parked. Turned our to be rodent damage on a coolant hose that would only leak under pressure..

Ok update Friday night... Coach Net called this AM and wanted to tow coach 80 miles only to sit till the end of next week before they could look at it. After much debate I opted for a mobil tech to come out and I would pay for tow if it needed.

Mobil Tech come out, found small pin hole leak on a heater hose. (Tiffin has installed impropertly allowing to rub on frame rail). Did a splice on hose and installed properly to prevent occurrence, added 3 Gallons of anti freeze, enginen codes gone, temp in normal.

Im out 70.00 dollars for extra hour labor, some anti freeze, and a gladly paid healthily tip.

Cheap dollars... resume trip Sunday,

Chris

Turned out this is what happened to me. Small pin hole leak, No fluid visual, and just under pressure it would leak.
Thanks for the reply
