lost 12 volts

I have a 2008 Hurricane and have lost 12 volts. I have 12 volts at low volt fuse panel and fully charged batteries. It as though I have no ground. Battery ground cable to frame is complete. Some research brings up the BCC box under the hood and I understand a recall was made on same BCC with my MH year. Any help would be welcomed.

Are the batteries connected via the disconnect switches by the entry door?

If you have the RV Customs Products FW-2050 BCC, then you tripped the 50 amp DC circuit breaker in the BCC. It is CB 5 when you take the cover off, it is on the edge of the circuit board in the lower left corner. It is gray and has a red wire attached. Push the little black button on the side of it. This will reset the breaker.

lost 12 volts

I found the BCC box and tried to reset the CB5. It didn't need to be reset. The disconnect switch at entry door is on. I have read 12 volts at 12v fuse panel by going to ground wire at 120 volt panel. Something else strange, the dash radio dims and won't keep correct time.

Do you get your 12 volts when plugged into shore power?

Do you get your 12 volts when the generator is on?

Do you get click from the BCC when you disconnect and connect the coach disconnect switch by the door? Does the red light go on and off?

Do you get a click from the BCC when you disconnect and connect the chassis switch by the door? Does the green light go on and off?

Do you get a click from the BCC when you press the "Aux" switch on the dash?

Has the recall been performed on the BCC?

lost 12 volts

I'm on shore power and have 12 volts. Generator running 12 volts.Turning on chassis switch green lite on, turning off chassis switch green lite off. Connecting or disconnecting coach switch red stays on. I have 12 v on pos and neg leads to frig controller yet it continues to click. When I had the pos lead off frig controller the BCC clicked. Checking lites I read anywhere from 13 v to 9.5 v. They glow as if low voltage is the problem yet batteries are at full voltage and are new.

The red light should go off when you disconnect the coach batteries. you should hear the relay click on and off.

Here is a troubleshooting guide for your BCC.

I am not sure how the fridge fits into this. Try unpluging the fridge from outside and turning it off from the door switch and see what happens.

Do you have 12 volts when there is no shore power or generator?

If there is no 12 volts when there there is no shore power, the BCC is the problem. The coach battery power has to go through the coach disconnect relay then into CB5 then into the coach to supply 12 volts to everything.

When on shore power, your converter is supplying the 12 volts.
