Lost my exhaust turndown

Somewhere on my travels to bring the new coach home from Florida, the exhaust turndown seems to have fallen off. I have pics of my coach with it and other pics without it on the trip. It's blackened the back fiberglas panel at the bottom where the exhaust is now hitting and I need to get a replacement. Where does one find a compatible exhaust turndown for my coach? It has the 400HP Cummins motor in it.

I've seen them at Camping World also any large rv dealer that has a good parts dept. or Truck Stop locations. Be sure to measure you exhaust pipe so you get the correct size.

You did not say what year of coach you have if it is a 2007-2009 on a Freightliner chassis then you need to call Freightliner.

Google Dynaflex exhaust products to find a local dealer to you or stop at a truck dealership, Peterbilt, Kenworth, freightliner etc and their parts dept can get you one.

This was a common problem with diesel pushers. After installing the new tip and tightening the clamp, we always used a stainless steel screw and drove it through the pipe and extension to keep it from happening again.

It's a 2007 Newmar Kountry Star sitting on a Spartan MM chassis.

Thanks so much for that tip. I suspect that is exactly what happened as the clamp is still there, just no tip.

Exhaust extensions are not specific to any engine or chassis type. They go by diameter dimension of the pipe and length/curvature. You can get them at truck stops or I would order one off the internet and let "Brown" bring it to my door.

I totally disagree on the 2007 to 2009 the tailpipe was a intrical part of the exhaust system with the after treatment system that Cummins use on their engines. The tailpipe is rectangle looking.

Where to get an exhaust turn down?
Answer depends on the diameter of the exhaust pipe.
Small diameter pipes used on autos: Most any auto parts store, exhaust pipe isle.. Some of them even have larger sizes.

Larger diameter pipes common on trucks and motor homes.. Truck stops, Chrome shops (Chrome is Bling for trucks) And Truck type "Performance" shops. And of course RV dealers. and Camping world.

In short, the very next Flyin-J you come up on.
