Anyone in Natchez, MS yesterday around noon?

We were driving past Wally World when we had to stop for a traffic light. Cross traffic from our left started moving, including a small MH towing a (I think) Rav 4.

The MH turned left onto the same highway I was on, but the toad kept going straight! Before our light had changed others had stopped to help, so we just did the rubberneck bit.

Apparently, the toad was attached to the MH by the front bumper only, and did not have a proper tow bar installation. The entire front bumper of the toad was still attached to the tow bar at the rear of the MH.

What was amazing to me was the path the toad took. It went off the road and into the brush, missing several trees, and came to rest without hitting anything!

The guy was lucky toad didn't hit anything. The insurance company may have frowned on not being attached properly. A bumper attachment is no good, needs to be hooked to the chassis with safety chains or cables.
