Low house batteries

Have 2012 tiffin, has the magnum invert panel. It has been plugged into 50 shore power for little over 30 days. I went out to retrieve item and noticed the lights were very deem,I looked at the magnum panel it said batteries low! 9.6
So I unplugged shore power and started gen for couple hrs. I know when we dry camp that is how my husband charges batteries. He is away on business and I was wondering what to do??? The panel does not say it float, bulk,or absorbing a charge?? I press the charger button but nothing? I press the inverter button it lights up. Any advise would be appreciated.
Thank you,

The inverter button turns the inverter on/off (you want it off while on shore power).
The charger button turns the charger on/off (you want it on while on shore power).

Are you sure the shore power actually has power? check the breaker for the shore power plug.
In your coach, while on shore power, plug in something to see if you have 115V AC power to the plugs. If the inside plug works, then your shore power is good....

The green charge light should be on.
The green invert light should be off.
the panel will go to sleep...all lights off until you press the select knob. The it wakes up and the indicators will show what is happening.
