Low power
Took my new to me 1996 damon Intruder with alittle over 13000 miles. 460 Ford V8 on first trip today from Pensacola, FL to Hattiesburg, MS (Okatoma RV Resort). I was pulling a tow dolly with a Honda odyssey on it. When trying to get up speed, like getting on the interstate it takes like a half of a mile to get to 50 mph .It is hard to get to 65 mph. Any sort of small incline and she slow down. No brakes sticking. Any suggestions?

Low miles are deceiving...
Plugs wires checked?
Cat converter clogged...
Get a vacuum guage and learn how to use it as it can help troubleshoot.

Check cat converter. Had one plug on a truck once with sinuar simptons. Ran smooth, no power, had trouble getting to 50 MPH. Next check vacuum leak as stated above.

Ford liked to use the ceramic converter. They were prone to melt or shatter. Either way it stopped up the converter. Take it loose and look for a crushed looking or melted mess.

I should have also stated that if it looks like a honeycomb and is smooth across the face of it, it is O.K.

Get an ir gun thermometer and check temp when started and at idle.
If plugged front real hot back not so much.

It sounds like a cat converter to me,but in 1996 they didnot put them on the F53 chassi

x2 on checking the vacuum. Take it to an old timey garage where they know about engine basics: air flow, fuel, and ignition. Your problem does sound like an air flow problem either intake or exhaust. I once had a car that had a double-wall exhaust pipe, the inner wall collapsed and caused symptoms very similar to yours. Your first check should be the air filter. If that's okay, check the exhaust.

What kind of vehicle and what year was the double wall exhaust on? Thanks

Could be the proverbial in tank fuel pump. Acts like vapor lock. Varies in severity until it finally stalls.
