Had bad air conditioner gasket when I bought rv, got low spot behind air conditioner. Fiberglass roof, thinking about adding fiberglass to build the low spot up. Then painting with elasticmeric. Any pro's and con's

Because water was pooling there? Are the roof and ceiling in that area not rotted or water damaged? If the underlying structure is in good shape and you are able to seal it properly to aid run off that is a good idea. Show us pictures so we can learn too. Good luck.

A low spot generally means the integrity of the roof is compromizsed. It is a simple matter to pull the a/c and check. It would be wise to repair any damaged underlayment first. At 70 MPH there is a lot of pressure pushing down on that a/c. Good luck on whatever you decide.

If no structural issues... I would probably just use some self leveling lap sealant to eliminate the low spot instead of adding fiberglass.

That's my $0.02

Yeah, just layer on some self leveling lap sealant if you want to fill the low spot. Low spots aren't really uncommon - it's probably just the weight of the a/c.

I've got one around the tv antenna where some factory gorilla tightened down the mount enough to depress the roof skin a bit. I just keep the antenna mount well-caulked and ignore it.

Had air conditioner off to replace gasket, didn't notice swag. Everthing seems to solid, put jack on floor and checked the top till was scared to put more pressure on it. Going coat roof, don't like to and have water setting there. Thought of some leveling stuff, have more faith in adding more fiberglass.
