I also use a Watts regulator, (with gauge). A few weeks ago we were at a campground in Palm Springs and they told us when we check in that they had high water pressure. It was over 100PSI, so the regulator was needed. One of our friends put his regulator on the coach side of the hose and his hose looked like a balloon. He's kinda hard-headed, so I didn't tell him. There have been occasions when I have not felt the need to use a regulator though.

Many stories on here about burst hoses. I inderstand the desire to have the regulator in the coach to prevent theft, but if you do that, you better have a 200+ psi rated hose!

I agree though, usually a regulator is not needed in most campgrounds. But without a regulator when hitting one of those rare campgrounds, you'll sure wish you had one and an extra grand to fix your plumbing

Is there any place on Ontario Canada to buy this watts regulator? Sorry if that's a stupid question as I could order it from that rewaterfilterstore website, but was just wondering if any canucks had found a canadian source for it.

Boy I wish we were fulltiming it.

I couldn't find the regulator at home depot so I just ordered it from rvwaterfilterstore.com.

I installed mine the other day, set it at 55 and it works as advertised.

I got tired of buying those Camco fixed regultors every few months, so I got this one from Amazon.com. It works great.

Also, those white RV drinking water hoses are rated at 50psi.

And, I checked Lowe's and Home Depot for Watts regulators. No luck.

I also bought a water hose from the water filter store. Nicest hose I ever saw and it's rated for 200 psi. I mounted the watts 263a inside and Rick said that the hose will not burst.
