LP grill
I bought a camp chef grill for my RV , it runs on a regular refillable bbq tank . I want to hook up to my motor home lp tank.I went to camping world and was unable to locate any kits to make this happen Any suggestions ?

You want what is called an Extend-A-Stay. The deluxe model allows you to add an external tank for longer stays. It also has an extra fitting and hose that runs to a BBQ grill with the same connection as a 1 lb bottle. This is a high pressure line from the MH, so the grill must have a regulator.
I just found out those are no longer available, but here is the same thing:

What I did was went to local plumber/gas fitter shop and bought a lpg hose and proper fittings. Teed down stream of the coach's lpg regulator, and discarded the reg from the gas grill.

that is what my local rv guy said . He is supposed to order me the stuff tomorrow . I looked at this tee on line and cant see how it works.

I do have an available port on a manifold which is after the regulator. The plumbing supply house told me to come back Monday to speak to inside sales person .

I imported a Bullfinch gas port from the UK and installed it my self. I also installed one of their shower points. Bullfinch Gas - Outdoor Utility Points

We bought a small propane tank for $50 (4.5 lb?) and hose. It's not to bulky and should last us all season.

I have two 4 lb tanks (1 in reserve) and a 4 foot hose. I can go anywhere with my Weber, like a BBQ party at another site, or a picnic grounds, or far enough away that the wind does not blow the smoke in the door or window, or maybe just to the other side of the MH if the wind is too strong.
Being limited to being close to my MH would be so...limiting.
Also works for the Coleman stove!

I would rather keep on of the small portable lp tanks for the grill and keep it away from the coach. I am not comfortable with a gas grill that close to the coach.

I did this also and it works great and was not expensive .
