Magna shades

I have probably decided that it makes sense to acquire Magna Shades for my motorhome. Only two negatives I've seen posted about them are 1. Price and 2. Having to store them when wet. Not much I can do about having to store them when wet, but curious if there are ever decent 'sales' or specials that I should wait for ( something worthwhile, not just $20 bucks off). I know some vendors run special pricing at trade shows or rallies. I'm not in a big hurry to buy, but if the price is what the price is, may as well order now. Know lots of you have them, so hopefully you can shed some light on pricing and discounts. Thanks

I've seen them quite a few times at various places and I have never seen them on sale of any kind. If I had seen a sale I would have them.

They are only sold direct. We bought ours at an FMCA Rally, and I think we got free shipping.

They are expanding to handle growing demand. As you are buying direct for the manufacturer I wouldn't expect a sale.

I watch the weather before I know we'll be moving and put the shades away if there will be rain the day before we leave. Haven't put the away wet once in 9 years (two coaches).

What's the issue with putting away wet? I've done it and not noted an issue.

I also bought mine at the Perry FMCA rally and got free shipping, but the overall price was the same as advertised.
I don't think putting them away wet would be a problem unless they molded, and then I think cleaning would not be that difficult.

X2... Mine are 6 years old, and have been put away wet many times. No issues yet.

Unfortunately they are expensive. Fortunately the quality is excellent as is there service. You get what you pay for.
Putting away wet is not a problem. Water does not soak into the fabric itself and a few quick shakes with you partner gets rid of most of the water that is held between the weave. After 2 1/2 years they look absolutely new.
Also check out thier tire covers. They are so easy to put on and take off.

Magna Shade sale.

You will see a sale from this outfit when pigs fly and somebody mentioned that they are expanding so expect the prices to increase even more. Do a little more home work and you will find some others out there that are more reasonably priced and equal in quality and service.
The alternative is to make your own or if you already have a snap on set to modify them for the use of magnets. Very easy to do and not that expensive. Magnets of all kinds are available all over the internet.
