Pics

Sorry, many of these are the same pictures, we moved the coach outside today to make sure we could inspect the finish in better light. I took some more photos.

We painted the doors and wheel wells today, got 1 coat of clear down then a wind storm came up and dirt hit the pieces so we have to sand and re-clear then there ready to mount.

A before and after shot, plus the total time it took would be an awesome summary. Will.ypu be putting a name on the back or just leaving perfection alone.

The wind can really cause problems, was spraying a boat years ago when the wind came up and pushed cold air under the dock and dulled the hole side of a 75 FT boat. I feel for you. Job is looking great .

Yes, these basement doors and wheel wells were in the back of the warehouse and they had multible doors open for some ventilation when the wind kicked up and brought some dirt into the warehouse.

Before and after pictures are going to be part of the slide show. No way of knowing total time anymore. This was started in April and I have had to pull crews off this project and onto income producing jobs in our business. At this point I have lost count but it's been a lot. I know a few weeks ago I billed out $1000 in labor in a week and my cost on that labor is about 32 an hr with 2 guys and my 16 year old. I think this project with a full time crew would have taken 160-200 hours. Perhaps a bull whip as a motivation tool also.

I had thought about getting a Coachman logo like what was on there before and putting it on the back but I really don't want to put anything over the clear coat. I think I'm going to leave it clean like it is.

I'm undetermined on the front. The coach had Destiny on the front in vinyl lettering which is the model. I might have that airbrushed on but again I have not decided.

My 2cents is I like the air brushing of Destiny on it. It has many meanings over and above the orginal name of the rig. Something wispy and classy looking would match the rig.
