We attended the Dallas RV Show today . . . wow, amazing to see how many manufacturers now offer rigs on Sprinter chassis. If this trend keeps going, maybe a we'll see Sprinter in the Chassis Club! I guess it depends on the VOLUME of message about anything Sprinter, so c'mon you "little Mercedes diesel" folks out there --- start posting!

Regarding the Dallas RV Show, it is being held this year at the Dallas Convention Center (downtown) instead of the previous Dallas Market Hall location. Observations:

- all RV's are inside
- parking was $8 instead of free as before
- the number and quality of vendor booths was paltry (never has been good, now it's worse!)
- downtown Dallas doesn't seem safe, even in the daylight

While touring the Winnebago factory this July they had acres and acres of brand new Sprinter Chassis' setting on the grounds waiting to be built into Winnebago's View model. The guide told us the only thing the dealers were ordering were the high-end diesels and the Sprinter Views.

I tested a View 23H last summer for the magazine I write for, and absolutely loved the thing. Stability and fuel economy made it one of the pleasantest-driving RVs I've been in.

We are very pleased with our 2009 Fleetwood Pulse 24A. Easy to drive, park and thoughtfully engineered.
We had to downsize, due to my arthritis, from a 3500 dually and fifth wheel several months ago and thought that might be the end of our RVing life. The Pulse was on the dealers lot and after some little inspection and numerous questions we made the change.
The little Mercedes 6cyl is more than up to its' task. Good acceleration , passing when needed and hill climbing coupled with decent fuel economy 14.5 to 17.2 on I95 from Fl to Sc and return.
Can park between the lines of most parking lots though the length takes two spaces usually. Did we say easy to drive? Wife Rita at 5' 3" handles it like a pro and is not intimidated as before.
Paddle shifter is a nice touch and can lock down or up to needed gearing with a slap of the gear shifter. Interior fit and finish of our coach is much better than what seems to be todays' average. All in all a very nice unit for the size and price.
We have had class A's, TT's and FW's this unit is so far the best overall as far as quality and value in our opinion.

Best to all, take care...Jack&Rita

We supplemented (not replaced) our '05 Vectra 36RD with an '08 View 24H. Best move we ever made. I'll second everything Jack&Rita said!!
