I agree with Brobox Lazydays has a nice front but don't go there for repairs I won't even get into that. Try PPL they are a broker with a good selection.

I too live in Citrus County. That really should have little influence on where you buy. Buying new will drive where you buy and may influence a used buy.

There are many large dealers which really helps when you need to look through many to get a feel for what you want.

You have Alliance, Lazy Days, North Trail, another I can't recall in Sarasota. I once bought a used coach from Independence and could not have been more pleased with the sales experience or them standing behind the product.

You're also in a great place if you are considering a Prevost conversion, which I have now. There are no less than 6 dealers or converters in the area.

I bought my current coach from Quality Motor Coach. Basically a one man operation. Owners name is Gary. He buys used units at auctions for resale and takes in a few consignments. Overall it was a good experience. You just have to stay on him to take care of the details since he is a one man operation.

It's a little far from 34429 or I'd go for sure

Units are open and you can wonder all day. Just be prepared to walk... It's a very large place. They even have their own cafeteria for lunch. Impressive place!

You are spending too much money to rule out a 2-3 hour drive. Just my opinion.

When we are sure we are ready to buy it won't be, but we are only in Florida for a week to visit family for Easter. Otherwise I'd go.

I can see if my dad can fly us down....

It turns out that Buddy Gregg Motorhomes in Knoxville TN has their own on-site RV park just like LD. We will be there in a few weeks to pick up our new DP and they plan on spending the whole day with us on delivery. Then, we will stay over night and use all the systems to see what problems we have, which they will handle with us the next morning. Yes, buying new has some advantages and this is certainly one of them.

Then we plan on exploring the Knoxville area! Anyone have any suggestions?

Orlando RV is military friendly. Told me they wouldn't let me out the door without the best deal and then proved it. They went above and beyond. Typical salesmen, lips are moving... you know the rest but management backed up all their promises and fixed everything on the coach that I could find a a few things they found for me. Always be willing to walk away.
