Max Load Rating on MH Tires

I find it is interesting that the new Berkshire has 2 different rear axle's depending on which engine is in it, the ISB 340HP(17,500) or the ISB-XT 360HP(19,000) Front is same on both at 10,410. CCC TBA

Don't get mixed up on NCC vs CCC vs OCCC. All three are calculated differently.

UVW = Unladen Vehicle Weight
SCWR = 154 lbs x number of beds in coach

NCC = GVWR-UVW

CCC = GVWR - Water_weight - propane_weight - SCWR

OCCC = GVWR - (UVW + Propane_weight)

NCC will always be the largest of the three and OCCC will be close to it. CCC will be much lower, since it subtracts the weight of water, propane and the max number of passengers. It is not surpising the your CCC was was a low number whereas the NCC was higher.

But now I want to be reassured that we haven't added too much weight to the MH. My hubby says if the Kia had no trouble then the MH will have no trouble. And he says that the MH storage units were built for storage. AND we aren't putting bricks in there! What do you folks think? Am I overthinking this?

Frazierdee... You aren't overthinking it - get the coach weighed now that you have your gear onboard. I doubt id the stuff you had in the Kia is itself overweight, but you need to understand the total weight now in the coach and how it is distributed between front and rear axles.

I was using the GVW and the tire manufacturer's charts to inflate my tires until a tech at an RV center pointed to the Federal Certification Tag & the manufacturer's weight info. So now I know what the suspension's design parameters are and following them has meant a good performing coach driving down the road.
