I had mice and eliminated the problem with the electronic mouse repel I found at Lowes. I placed them in areas where mice like to hide, inside the galley cabinet, inside bath cabinets etc. I also made sure to pick up any dog food dishes. They really like the hard dog food. I found stashes of dog food in little used drawers in the galley and bedroom.

I am thinking that I read copper wool was better that steel wool. Not sure if that is because the copper is toxic if eaten, tastes bad or if it won't rust. Then the foam and then the black liner stuff to seal it all.
