Ok keep it honest,,, What do you get on your rig. I have a 40' diesel pusher, I get an average of about 7 to 8 mpg. My old class C gets 11 on the highway (5.7 Chevy with TBI) and uses fuel like it has a hole in the tank in town.

With our Winnebago View (Mercedes 5-cylinder diesel) - - - when towing the Scion xA, between 15.0 and 15.5 mpg . . . without tow, as much as 17 mpg. Honestly. I typical travel between 60 and 65 mph.

I have a 40' DP towing a car. If I keep it around 65 I have been getting right at 7.5 mpg. It cruises very well at about 72, but the mileage goes down below 6 mpg then!

36 foot DP with ISC 330, 16000 miles and 8.2 mpg, average mph is 47 according to VMSpc. Now that we are towing we are averaging 8.9. Highest ever was 10.2 and lowest was 7.5 at 70-75 mph.

However, our favorite measurement is...100 smiles to the gallon .

We usually get about 8 mpg with our rig and 330hp ISC Cummins towing 4x4 Silverado. Try to keep it at 65mph. Have had less mpg but very little more when not towing.

37' 11" RV with the gas 8.1 L.
Usually get between 6 1/2 & 8. I drop a small amount when towing a Ranger maybe 1/2 MPG. I tow mostly in the 60 MPH range unless on Interstate and then about 65.
If I get 8, I feel I won the lottery but 6.8 to 7.5 is my average. Most of my trips are about 85 miles one direction.

I average around 7.5 mpg going at 62 mph and that's pretty consistent towing our Jeep Cherokee. Ed.S

Ditto for me too. When towing the Grand Cherokee, it drops to 6.0 or 6.5 at 60 mph. This is with the 8.1L gasser.
