If I’m not mistaken the fam camp is located on base.

And if you miss it at 2AM in the dark it’s real easy to end up at the end of the run way on a two track dirt road to that runway BTDT

Thanks.. Yep... my bad, had a senior moment. I meant Tyndall instead of Tinker. And.... regarding someone else’s post, the FamCamp is most definitely located off base away from the main gate. It’s really a nice RV Park as is Nellis AFB is in Las Vegas, which BTW is located on base. We always try to stay in FamCamps during our travels as they are well maintained and much cheaper. Recommend calling direct the FamCamp of interest to determine your eligibility.
